McNamara Student-Athletes of the Month: Seth Ambroz & Kayla Hirt
Each month, the McNamara Academic Center for Student-Athletes (MAC) will recognize one male and one female University of Minnesota student-athlete for their academic achievements. The winners of the McNamara Student-Athlete of the Month for the month ending December 31st, 2011 are Seth Ambroz from the Men’s Hockey team and Kayla Hirt from the Women’s Basketball team.
Wilhite Presents Research As Part of McNair Scholar Program
Gopher defensive end D.L. Wilhite took part in prestigious program this summer.
University of Minnesota football player D.L. Wilhite has spent much of his summer preparing for the 2011 Golden Gopher football season. But he has also spent a considerable number of hours working on a presentation he unveiled to the public Tuesday.
