Education Alissa received her bachelor's degree in physical education from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota. She completed her master's degree in sport administration at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in Ohio.
Experience Alissa served as a graduate assistant in Student-Athlete Services at BGSU where she taught an intro course, coordinated the tutorial program, and worked with at-risk student-athletes. After grad school, she was named Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Services at the University of Denver from 2005-2009 before coming back home to the University of Minnesota. Prior to her work in athletics, she worked as a product manager in a technology company and a paralegal at a family law firm.
What you need to know about Alissa Allen In her spare time, she likes to read, spend time with friends and family, attend sporting events, and volunteer. She also enjoys the academic world and often finds herself taking a class to increase her knowledge base.
