Hometown Grafton, Wisconsin – a small suburb of Milwaukee
Education Erin attended Drake University in Des Moines, IA and participated on the Women’s Track & Field team all four years, where she specialized in high jump, triple jump, and the 400 hurdles. She continued her education at Florida State University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Sports Administration.
Experience Erin had the opportunity to begin her athletic academic counseling career at Florida State University as a Seminole, and then headed west to become a Duck at University of Oregon, and she returned to the Midwest as a Golden Gopher in 2005 to the University of Minnesota.
What you should know about Erin Erin enjoys keeping herself in shape with running, biking, swimming, basketball, in-line skating, softball, triathlons, skiing, and walking her wiggly pug, Vinny. She achieved the accomplishment of running her first marathon in 2006. Erin is married to Scott Swanson, the Associate Head Coach for the Gopher Volleyball Team.
